Hello everyone.
Today I'm presenting a renovation project for Lucena Street in Cuevas de San Marcos (Málaga).
The project area was located on one of the slopes of Lucena Street, which runs through Rute Street and Velasco Street.
The objective of the project was to replace the road surface and water networks.
For the roadway section, a concrete pavement with electro-welded mesh has been chosen.
The pavement has been made with Rodasol or similar printed concrete paving, with electro-welded mesh, cured and sealed joints, using a different color from the road surface.
The pedestal was consolidated with chipping and a layer of white single-layer mortar on the existing wall, with a perimeter railing in sections higher than 30 cm. The existing railing was also scraped and painted.
Finally, the paving stone line has been constructed in two layers with concrete separating the pavements, giving it a smooth, break-resistant surface finish.
This project was designed by RBM Estudio de Arquitectura through architect Raúl Benítez Molina.
Best regards,
Raúl Benítez.
